Sonitus Ignotus

Here's my musical composition for the Noise Jam 2.

Contrary to most of my tracks, I tried to take a different approach and create it as a sort of generative piece. First, I recorded my electric guitar through my Focusrite interface, with Boogex, ValhallaSpaceModulation, ValhallaFreqEcho and ValhallaSupermassive in the FX chain; then, I ran the recorded material through various synth tracks (Vital, Helm, Odin2 and Surge XT) to generate pads, noises and distortions throughout the composition. The percussive loop was originated from the guitar as well, by tapping forcefully the strings and influencing the sound with Reaper stock Ring Modulator and Tukan SubBass.

Not entirely satisfied with it but it was fun to play around with.
